Thanks to its workshop based in Mions, Forankra can customise straps according to your needs: length, colour, marking and available buckles. Forankra can also make straps to drawings.
Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?
STF is the tension force of the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).

Comment est composée une sangle d'arrimage ?
Selon les modèles, elle se compose soit de deux parties (une partie courte avec tendeur et crochet, et une partie longue avec crochet), soit d’une seule sangle équipée d’un dispositif de tension métallique pour un arrimage en boucle ou en ceinture. Chaque élément doit être identifié par un étiquetage conforme. Son utilisation doit respecter les instructions du fabricant et la norme EN 12195 afin de garantir la sécurité du transport et des opérateurs.
