Optimization of volume in a curtain-sided semi-trailer, a system designed for the transport of non-stackable goods, it allows for a second loading level to be achieved thanks to the supporting beams fixed in the side extensions.
The solution to reduce operating, transportation, and labor costs lies in volume optimization: loading up to 66 European pallets in a semi-trailer equipped with the CTD-3.
The CTD-3 system consists of side extensions fixed on side rails and load-bearing beams on which the pallets are placed on the second level.
Adjustable height: The extensions slide on vertical steel rails welded on the crossbars, offering adjustable height modules.
Storage of pallet support beams: The pallet beams are compatible with the lock hole rails of the extensions, allowing storage between the crossbars when spacing permits. Second level: The pallet support beams are equipped with integrated locks stiffening the second level.
For optimal configuration, 3 pallets are placed on 2 beams for a load of 1200 kg evenly distributed on 2 pallets, i.e., 600 kg per beam maximum.
