External lashing strap ideal for securing heavy loads during road transport.
The LC 2500 daN external lashing strap has a breaking strength of 7.5 tons for the textile part (strap) and 5T for the metal parts (hardware). The strap's pre-tension force is increased by its extended handle ratchet tensioner "RHE", and the reverse tensioning helps reduce the risk of MSD (musculoskeletal disorders) for users.
Designed for external lashing, this strap is suitable for heavy-duty trucks (curtain-sided vehicle or tautliner and flatbed vehicle).
Compliant with EN12195-2 standard, the LC 2500 daN lashing strap is available with 6E hooks (open hooks) or 5L double hooks (closed hooks) or magnetic 5LA hook. With the magnetic hook on the long part, the strap stays in place on the edge while the operator goes around the load to tension the strap.

are the straps customizable?
Thanks to its workshop based in Mions, Forankra can customise straps according to your needs: length, colour, marking and available buckles. Forankra can also make straps to drawings.
Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?
STF is the tension force of the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
What is the SHF ?
The SHF represents the human force used to tension the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
