The 75 mm external lashing strap is the heavyweight among heavy-duty straps.
With a length of 9 m, it is made from a 15-ton (15T) breaking strength strap and 10T hardware, which, in accordance with the European standard EN12195-2, gives it a lashing capacity of 5000 daN.
This yellow strap, designed for improved visibility, features a long-handled ratchet tensioner "8ML" with a STF (multiplied tension force) of 375 daN and is available with "6L" hooks (open hooks) or "7L" double hooks (closed hooks).
Suitable for external lashing of heavy-duty vehicles: tarped, flatbed, and car carrier.
Total length: 900 cm including short strap length: 100 cm.
LC= Lashing capacity: 5000 daN in a straight line / 10,000 daN in a U shape

Thanks to its workshop based in Mions, Forankra can customise straps according to your needs: length, colour, marking and available buckles. Forankra can also make straps to drawings.
Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?
STF is the tension force of the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
What is the SHF ?
The SHF represents the human force used to tension the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
