Compliant with standard EN 12195-2.
The 885V tie-down strap allows you to securely secure cargo in vehicles equipped with “aero-style” slot rails.
The 5V double “aero” pins sewn onto each end ensure compatibility with all “aero” rails, regardless of the rail profile or center-to-center distance. Secured to the rail via two slots (double pins), it provides a secure tie-down.
The over-tensioning device secures the cargo while limiting the risk of the rails being torn from the walls due to excessive tension in the strap. This controlled tensioning system uses not only manual tightening by the operator but also mechanical tension induced by the lever arm of the handle when the tensioner is locked.

are the straps customizable?
Thanks to its workshop based in Mions, Forankra can customise straps according to your needs: length, colour, marking and available buckles. Forankra can also make straps to drawings.
Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?
STF is the tension force of the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
What is the SHF ?
The SHF represents the human force used to tension the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
