The LC 2000 daN external lashing strap is recommended for securing loads in Tautliner / curtain-sided semi-trailer and flatbed truck types.
With a length of 9 m, made from a 6-ton (6T) breaking strength strap and 5T hardware, this blue strap features a standard "4Y" ratchet tensioner and is available with 6E hooks (open hooks), 5L double hooks (closed hooks), or with 5LA double magnetic hook (easy to install).
The variant with a magnetic hook allows the strap to stay in place on the edge of the side rail while the operator walks around the vehicle to tension it.
The strap should be tensioned by covering lashing to secure the load during transport. This operation aims to prevent the movement of goods during transportation.
Suitable for external lashing of heavy-duty vehicles: curtain-sided and flatbed.
In accordance with European regulations, the 9-meter LC 2000 strap complies with EN12195-2 standard.

are the straps customizable?
Thanks to its workshop based in Mions, Forankra can customise straps according to your needs: length, colour, marking and available buckles. Forankra can also make straps to drawings.
Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?
STF is the tension force of the ratchet. Its unit of measurement is the daN (deca-newton).
What is the SHF ?
