The loading bridge when at rest is locked in a vertical position with a safety latch, it unlocks with the foot and the operator uses a handle or chain for positioning. The bridge moves easily in its track thanks to mounted rollers on ball bearings.
The bridge must be installed in a track, provided separately.
To fix the welded track, it is necessary to have at the edge of the dock, a vertical metal part descending 200 mm, depending on the configuration.
To choose an aluminum loading bridge type FBAV, it is necessary to know the level difference between the dock and the truck which must be compatible with the level differences (see in the table the min. & max. D dimensions).
Advantages:
The EN1398 standard recommends a bridge width at least 700 mm wider than the cart's width.
