It can compensate for significant height differences.

When not in use, the loading bridge is locked in the vertical position; it is unlocked using the foot pedal, and the operator holds the bridge in place with a handle provided for this purpose. For the heaviest models, the loading bridge is equipped with two handles.

To select an FBSV-type steel loading bridge, you must know the height difference between the loading dock and the truck, which must be compatible with the specified height differences (see the table for the minimum and maximum D dimensions).

Standard EN 1398 recommends that the upper bridge width be at least 700 mm wider than the width of the forklift.

To secure the loading ramp, there must be a recess at the front edge of the concrete loading dock with a steel bar featuring a 200 mm vertical drop to allow for welding the rail.
