Environmental protection is a key concern for our group, and we are proud to share one of our initiatives aimed at giving aluminium materials a second life, with the recycling of beams from our XTRADECK double deck system.
Why choose our recycling service?
Sustainability is not just about product design, but also about what we do with products once they reach the end of their life cycle. We firmly believe in the value of recycling. That is why we have introduced this special offer to ensure that our defective double-deck beams do not end up in landfill, but instead are given a new lease of life.
The recycling process:
When a beam from our XTRADECK double-deck system is deemed defective, it is not simply set aside. Instead, each beam is carefully examined to determine whether at least one of its components, whether an end cap or a support tube, is still in a condition to be reused. If so, the beam is then eligible for our recycling programme.
Once the damaged beams have been received, our team of experts carries out a detailed analysis. If the beams meet the recycling criteria, we begin the refurbishment process. This step ensures that the recovered beams are analysed, refurbished and functional once they have been checked by our quality control department. After refurbishment, we take care of the recycling of all non-reused components. This step is essential to ensure that each component is treated in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner.
A new lease of life for your beams:
Once the recycling process is complete, the refurbished beams are ready for reuse. Our customers can therefore benefit from high-quality beams while actively contributing to waste reduction and the preservation of our planet.
Much more than just refurbishing the beams from our XTRADECK system, this process combines ecology and economy, as XTRADECK doubles the load capacity of van vehicles by adding a second level of beams, from 33 to 66 pallets!
