When should I use a dock leveller?

are the straps customizable?

Does the color of the strap affect the resistance?
No, the colour has no impact on the capacity of the strap and this is not prescribed in the standard. On the other hand, the label includes all the information needed to identify the strap (STF, CMU, elongation, etc.).
Do the straps need to be inspected?
There is no regulatory strap check, but wear must be checked before use.
What is the LC?
The LC stands for ‘lashing capacity’ or, in accordance with the standard, the LC expresses the strap's capacity for use, including the safety coefficients. It therefore refers to the strap's daily use.
What is the STF ?

How do I secure a quay?
To secure a loading bay, we recommend all the devices in the dock equipment accessories range (e.g. wheel chock, wheel guide, loading bridge with refuge area, trestles and support legs, etc.).
I don't have a U-iron on my platform nose. How do I install the dock?
You need to fit a U-iron or metal angle (dimensions to be specified on the technical data sheet, depending on the model) to the dock nose so that you can weld the dock.
Is there a solution for handling a loading dock more easily?
Yes, depending on the model, there are articulated docks compensated by gas struts or springs to limit the effort involved in handling.

How do I choose my PRM ramp?
The choice of PRM ramp depends on several criteria: the place where the ramp will be installed (ERP, private home or in a vehicle) and the space available, which will determine the slope. Example for an ERP: Need for a ramp to negotiate steps with a total height of 400mm in a wheelchair, the ramp will have to be at least 6700mm long (400/6 x100).
Is there a PRM standard to be met?
Yes, according to the decree of 8 December 2014 and the decree of 20 April 2017, ramps must have a maximum slope of 6% for establishments open to the public. We adapt our PMR ramps to meet these standards
Can a PRM loading ramp be adapted to all configurations?
We have selected a very wide range of aluminium ramps to meet the needs of most the majority of configurations, whether for crossing thresholds, door rails, steps or even for going up and down stairs or for getting in and out of vehicles.
Removable loading plate
What is the maximum capacity per plate?
Removable plates have a maximum capacity of 4 tonnes, 5 tonnes with aluminium articulated dock and 6 tonnes with steel articulated docks.
How do you connect the truck to the dock? What length of plate do you need?
To determine the length/depth of the plate, you need to know the negative height difference (when the truck bed is below the platform) and the positive height difference (when the truck bed is above the platform). Then refer to the technical data sheets, which give all the height differences for each model.

Can HGVs drive over the speed bumps?
Yes, the admissible load is 6000kg on 200X200mm.
For what speed are speed humps suitable?
There are three possible speeds depending on the height of the speed bump: 50km/h for a height of 30mm, 20km/h for a height of 50mm and 10km/h for a height of 60mm.
Can speed humps be installed on public roads?
No, our speed bumps should only be used on private roads (car parks, shopping centers, co-ownerships, campsites, etc.).
What material are speed humps made from?
Speed bumps are made from raw recycled PVC in black or painted yellow.
Do fixing kits exist? How many do I need?
Yes, fixing kits are available, but you need one kit for each central element and one kit for two extremities (e.g. for a retarder made up of five central elements and two extremities, you would need six fixing kits).

How do I calculate the capacity of a stack pads?
There are two ways of calculating the capacity of the monobloc skid depending on the number of outriggers on the crane: - For two outriggers: 2/3 of the unladen weight + maximum load capacity = capacity in kg/skid | - For four outriggers: (2/3 of the unladen weight + maximum load capacity)/2 = capacity in kg of the skid. Example for a 50T crane with a load capacity of 10T on 4 outriggers: (50T x 2)/3 = 33330kg + 10T = 43330 /2 = 22T per skid.
Are there different sizes of stack pads?
Yes, there are square, round and notched one-piece skids.
Are there storage boxes for stack padss?
Yes, we have storage boxes for one or two skates. Please note that these storage boxes correspond to one skate size. See our technical data sheet for more information.
Is it possible to have a central print?

Textil Barrier
What is the purpose of a textile barrier?
The textile barrier is used to block access, inform the public, secure an area (market, school exit, event, unloading area, etc.).
What is the difference between a manual and semi-automatic barrier?
The manual barrier must be picked up and put back into the box by hand by the operator. The semi-automatic barrier has a roll-up mechanism for easy storage.
Is it possible to customise a textile barrier?
It is possible to customise the length, marking, type of fixing, colour of the box, etc.
What are the advantages of a textile barrier?
The textile barrier is always on station, can be deployed in less than a minute by a single operator and requires no special skills. The retro-reflective marking ensures visibility day and night.
Does the barrier require any special maintenance?
A quick check of general condition and possible rigging/lubrication is recommended once a year.
What installation work is required?
All you have to do is fix the posts, and there's no need for heavy earthworks or a power supply.
